Abstract
The article shows how limited is the use of the Totalitarianism Concept in explaining the Czech post-war history. Instead of that it suggests Juan Linz´s theory of the Post-totalitarianism as more useful concept in explaining the Czechoslovakia´s communist regime for the larger part of its duration, at least for its second half.
