Association of trace elements with colloidal fractions in leachates from closed and active municipal solid waste landfills

Abstract

The cascade filtration experiments on landfill leachates showed that arsenic is present in dissolved fraction, whereas other inorganic contaminants can be partly bound to colloidal fractions.
