Abstract
Ergonomic training has been implemented in dental curriculum in – 2006. Training is being conducted in the first year of preclinical dentistry.
Theoretical education is focused on ergonomic principles of work and practical training is on dental simulators. The questionnaire has been distributed among the students.
Students were asked to evaluate the benefit of ergonomic training and described the possible health problems associated with the occupation of dentist. Implementation of ergonomic training has been considered benefical among students and 56 % stated some health problems associated with the body possition.
