Glycogen phosphorylase BB could be a new biomarker for detection of cardiac toxicity during hematopoietic cell transplantation for hematological malignancies

Abstract

Assessment of cardiac toxicity during hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT). Administration of preparative regimen followed by HCT could be associated with myocardial injury manifested by increased release of glycogen phosphorylase BB from cardiomyocytes. 10.1038/bmt.2009.306
