Abstract
This paper describes the establishment and functioning of the officium inquisitionis in the Kingdom of Bohemia in from the early fourteenth century to the outbreak of the Hussite revolution. It discusses all known inquisitors who operated in medieval Bohemia, providing details on their education, ecclesiastical career and antiheretical activities.
In addition, it offers general reexamination of the organization of the officium inquisitionis and its evolution in the fourteenth century.
