Abstract
The philosophy of history of Francis Fukuyama has become in social sciences legendary. The famous essay on the end of history, which appeared in summer 1989, was prophetic and marked the fall of Communism and renascence of democracy in Central and Eastern Europe.
The following two decades, when some war conflicts in the world came up, show, however, that history has not stopped.
