Abstract
Traumatic injuries of the teeth affect dental hard tissues (crown fractures, root fractures), trauma to periodontal tissues or combination of both. The trauma of oral soft tissues and face may associate.
Dental trauma is the second often reason for dental visit after caries. Epidemiological studies show the incidence of dental trauma in primary dentition about 30 % and in permanent dentition about 22 %.
