Abstract
The article describes the bloody suppression of workers‛ riots on the Polish Baltic coast in December 1970. It also reflects the image of these events produced in feature films, as film by Andrzej Wajda Man of Iron (1981) or the latest movie by Antoni Krauze, entitled Black Thursday (2010).
