Emphysematous pyelonephritis - a life treatenig status

Abstract

The aim of this case report is presentation of the successful treatment of the patient with emphysematous pyelonephritis (EP). EP is an acute necrotizing parenchymal and perirenal infection caused by gas-forming uropathogens.
