CoRoT photometry and high-resolution spectroscopy of the interacting eclipsing binary AU Mon

Abstract

New accurate ephemerides for both, orbital motion (with a period of 11.113 d) and the long-term overall brightness variation (with a period of 416.9 d) of this Be+G binary were obtained. The long-term changes were found to be due to attentuation by circumbinary material.
